Who'd a thunk it?

It can be amzaingly productive to get out on the road. I am in the third week of about a 14 week stint visiting about 35 cities.

An interesting conversation over cold beers in a hot and sticky climate (ah Florida in July) revealed a *very* interesting tidbit.

Quiz Question: You are an online-broker and you issue 10,000 RSA Secure-ID tokens to your top end clients. What happens?

Answer: DEPOSITS GO UP 30% IN THOSE ACCOUNTS!!!!

If true, this is huge. Most banks have always assumed that security (read trust) was an EXPENSE, not something that would enhance customer confidence. Get with it banks. Security works, is good, and will enhance your bottom line.

Remember my posting when E*Trade first announced this program? I was happy then. I am estatic now! :-)
