Well, mySQL of course, why?

Well, because PostgreSQL has sent out its take on the recent Alfresco survey which shows that it's where the action is.

Here are the key numbers:

  • Community usage: 62% MySQL; 9% PostgreSQL
  • Evaluation usage: 50% MySQL; 23% PostgreSQL
  • Deployment usage: 40% MySQL; 28% PostgreSQL

The PostgreSQL take on this is people date mySQL, but enterprises marry PostgreSQL. Yes, it does remind me of the Mitt Romney spin that he's the Republican leader since he's leading in Iowa.

So let's put ol' Mitt's picture up there at the top, and you can discuss this among yourselves.
