It's March 22. Not a high profile event in past years. They're planning numerous events to get people interested in one of our most precious resources. We are actually part-way through the International Water Decade. Bet you didn;t know that. As global warming changes the weather patterns around the planet we may stop taking water for granted even in the powerful nations. Australia can serve as an example of what even a wealthy nation faces when the spigot is turned off. They're even worried over the usual kangaroo cull because the 12-year drought has lowered the population of 'roos.
