Talk about cutting it close! Apple today announced the dates for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC): June 8-12 at Moscone West in San Francisco, just over three months before the event itself.

Talk about cutting it close! Apple today announced the dates for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC): June 8-12 at Moscone West in San Francisco, just over three months before the event itself. On its Developer Connection Web site Apple warns:

Tickets to last year’s WWDC sold out. Don’t miss your opportunity, purchase your ticket by April 24 and save $300.

Tickets cost $1,295.00 when you purchase by April 24 and go up to $1,595 after that.
