You can have an OLPC XO for only $400!!!

That's right, you can be the proud owner of an original $100 laptop for only $400! Sorry, couldn't help being a bit tongue-in-cheek. xogiving.org (run by OLPC) has announced a Buy 1 Get 1" program through which Americans can obtain an XO laptop computer if they donate a second machine to a child in another country.

This program is very limited; it will begin on November 12th, and only the first 25,000 participants are expected to be able to obtain one of the laptops by the holidays (won't American teenagers be thrilled to see one of these under the tree.)

Orders will only be accepted for two weeks.

Of course, for $400, you could just buy a Dell, albeit without the warm fuzzy feeling.
