ZAGG launching slim Bluetooth keyboard cover with integrated backlight

I am a fan of using external keyboards with my iPad for serious writing efforts and enjoying movies when I fly. I have been using the orange ZAGGfolio and loving it, but after seeing James review the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard cover I was getting ready to switch. I held out though, hoping that the folks at ZAGG would follow with their own super slim keyboard and it looks like my patience is going to pay off. ZAGG will be showing off the new ZAGGkeys PRO and PRO Plus keyboards at IFA in Berlin this week.

The ZAGGkeys PRO Plus looks to address the one thing missing that I love on my MacBook Pro and this is keyboard backlighting! Yes, this slim keyboard will support optional backlight with reports that it will still have a battery life of about two months with backlight use. The PRO and PRO Plus utilize magnets for closure and protection of your iPad display and I think this will definitely be my next iPad accessory. The ZAGGkeys PRO will retail for $99 and the PRO Plus for $129, both available by the end of September. I will write up a review when I get the PRO Plus.
