You're a CIO, and you've sat through endless sales pitches and attended seminars where countless buzzwords have been thrown around the room, but you've had little opportunity to tell everyone what you really think about a piece of technology.
If you've always wanted to make your voice heard on major IT issues and make your opinions count, now's the time to sign up for the ZDNet Asia CIO Jury. We want to make it easier for CIOs, CTOs and other IT decision-makers to share their opinions by participating in a quick one-question poll.
Here's how it works: every 2 to 4 weeks, ZDNet Asia will select a question to send out to the CIO Jury comprising a community of IT heads and CIOs from various organizations, big and small, across the Asian region. "Jurors" can respond with a simple yes or no, and also include additional comments if they choose to do so. These comments will then be cited in an article unveiling the poll results.
The first 12 Jurors to submit their votes make up that week's CIO Jury, and their names are listed at the bottom of the article. But while the overall vote and names of the jury will be revealed, the specific votes of each individual juror--whether they voted yes or no--will not be disclosed.
Jury members who are too busy to respond quickly enough to make up the first 12, can still have their comments featured in the article so all your insights do matter.
The ZDNet Asia CIO Jury provides a great platform for CIOs and IT heads in this region to voice their views to the rest of the global tech community. It allows the industry to know who you are and understand your thoughts. Jury members can choose to participate in the polls regularly or once in a while, whichever is more conducive to their schedule.
To qualify as a member, you should be a head of an IT department and the decision-maker for an IT budget. So your job title doesn't have to be CIO or CTO, it can also be IT director or vice president or head of IT, for instance. You can work in any vertical, public or private sector, as long as you're based in Asia.
Sorry, we're not accepting CIOs who work for technology vendors.
If you're keen to be part of the CIO Jury, e-mail me (email@example.com) with your name, job title, company and location in Asia.
