Danish blogger Kenneth Lund reports that a large Danish Apple reseller is claiming that new MacBook Pros will arrive on March 1. (And that sound you heard was Apple removing a certain Danish company's reseller status).

TUAW notes that, except for a processor bump in October, the MacBook Pro hasn't been revved since April 13, 2010. That's 307 days when the MacBook Pro is usually updated every 208 days. So yeah, it's way overdue. The MacBook Pro refresh has also been rumored for March 11 -- so we're definitely in the right neighborhood.

And March sounds a heck of a lot better than June.

The New MacBook Pros were believed to be delayed due to a $1B flaw that was discovered in Intel's next-gen Sandy Bridge processor. Intel claims that the issue has been resolved and that it will begin shipping dual-core Core i5 and i7 Sandy Bridge processors for laptops on February 20.

In addition to gaining the new Sandy Bridge chip, the MBP refresh has been rumored to take design queues from the MacBook Air, including its thin, wedge design, SSD, no optical, etc.

I just hope Apple doesn't drop the backlit keyboard from the MBP like it did in the 2010 MacBook Air -- a total Apple fail.
