The software allows iTunes users to create instant playlists, receive recommendations from the iTunes Store and fill their iPods with fresh playlists that auto-update every time you dock your iPod. It's free and there is also a version for Windows and Nokia S60 phones.

    The answer is eMusic and illegal downloads. He also said the record companies are no longer necessary.
