    This sounds about as logical as the new misery index defined by Kerry

    How about an index that measures how many days you need to work to pay taxes, food, shelter, medical, and transportation? It would seem to me that those things are more important than a movie ticket. The fact that Bollywood gives great deals to their citizens is a bit inconsequential.
