The March issue of "Harper's" has a spread with a blueprint for Google's The Dalles data center on the banks of Oregon's Columbia River. According to the article, the 68,680 square-foot facility (with only two of the three buildings completed) is expected to demand 103-megawatts of electricity, which would power about 80,000 homes.

The plans show a dormitory for "transient" employees, plenty of parking spaces, but no gourmet kitchen like the one at the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA.
