Internal Microsoft video shows plans for next-gen gaming experience

While searching around the Internet to find information the future of the Xbox, I stumbled across an internal video dated May 2010 which showcases some of the WGX (Windows Gaming eXperience) team's ambitions for next-generation gaming between Windows, Xbox Live, and mobile platform. For those of you who are unfamiliar, WGX is an internal Microsoft team comprised of all gaming-related endeavors between all of Microsoft's platforms. Though the video is from 2010, this is the closest look we have had yet at exactly what WGX's vision is. Check out the video below and see what you think:

First off, it's all aboard the fail boat for the person who decided to use "P0wned" instead of "pwned" on that one part. ;) Anyway, this video really seems to tie together what we know about Microsoft's attempts to make gaming ubiquitous between all mediums. And as you can see via this LinkedIn job ad and this Facebook page, the WGX team looks to be pushing full steam ahead with getting their vision up-and-running. My guess is they are shooting for a Windows 8 release time frame with hopes to have everything neatly tied together. Check out some of what they have to say in that LinkedIn ad:
