If I wanted an Android phone on T-Mobile right now, the HTC Sensation 4G would be my first choice. As posted on This Is My Next an upgraded HTC Sensation model with Beats Audio integration will be coming later in September to several countries outside the U.S. I was wondering how quickly we would see this Beats Audio integration and this is happening much faster than I anticipated.

The upcoming HTC Sensation XE has some improvements over the existing HTC Sensation model, including a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and larger battery. The Beats Audio experience is not just a pair of Beats Audio headphones in the box, that is part of it, but also some hardware and software integration on the device itself. According to the press release, "When used with the exclusive Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones, the handset automatically switches to the bespoke Beats by Dr. Dre sound profile, delivering audio tracks tuned specifically for the headphones." We don't have details on how the hardware is optimized for the audio experience so I guess we'll just have to try it out ourselves and see how it performs.
