Nokia N97 launching in 75 countries in June

Nokia announced their flagship new product, the N97, last Fall at Nokia World and about 8 months later we will finally see it launch around the world this month, June 2009. You should be able to find it in 75 countries in June and I understand it will launch in the UK on 19 June. There is quite a bit of excitement for the N97 in the mobile world and I have mine preordered from Nokia USA. It most likely will only be available in the US as an unlocked device, currently priced at $699 from Nokia USA.

It was a bit interesting to read the following paragraph in the Nokia press release:

The beauty of this Nokia device is that taking it out of the box is just the beginning. As with any computer, people can constantly improve and refresh their Nokia N97 with new features, functions and fixes so they can do even more with the device. An exciting roadmap of new features and functions is planned to roll out in the second half of 2009.

Most new mobile devices can be upgraded and Nokia supports over-the-air updates, however this is the first I heard that they have new features and functions already planned for the N97. I have no idea what these are and am quite curious about these planned updates.
