Nikon is debuting two brand new ultra-compact digital cameras today, the Coolpix S5100 and S1100pj. Both boast some solid features, but the latter also includes a built-in projector.

Following the release of the S1000pj last summer, the S1100pj hosts a projector 40 times brighter than the previous version as this model has 14 lumens. Compatible with both Mac and PC systems, this Coolpix camera projector is also better equipped to project photos onto lighter screens or walls in brighter situations. Not bad for the business person on-the-go who doesn't want to carry heavy equipment as this can be useful for informal or impromptu presentations.

Being released with the S1100pj, the S5100 might fall into the shadows a bit, but this point-and-shoot shouldn't be ignored. It is on the lower end of the spectrum, but the S5100 is being touted for its ability to shoot "stunning" photos even in low-lit areas thanks to the vibration reduction-enhanced motion detection lens shift.
