Pentax has just announced the Optio W90, a compact rugged digital camera ready for all-weather conditions that will be ready just in time for those spring and summer adventures.
Based on its looks, one would imagine that the Optio W90 should be able to withstand much more than a few drops and some cold weather. While I myself am not immediately attracted to it (especially that slime green color option), this is a camera that will relish some action.
The 12.1-megapixel pocket camera is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof and freezeproof. Here’s a closer look at the stats and what the Optio W90 packs inside:

Pentax will start shipping the Optio W90 in April, with an MSRP set at $329.95. A waterproof infared remote control accessory will also be available at that time for $29.95.
