You won't have to wait until the weekend to start taking advantage of more slashed prices on gadgets and gizmos. A number of retailers are prepping for Veterans Day sales on tech products this week.

According to Cyber Black Friday, some of the deals taking place on November 11 include:

  • Best Buy: $540 Off Samsung 3D-Ready HDTV Package with 3D glasses, Call of Duty: Black Ops game/movie bundle
  • Lenovo: Employee pricing and early bird deals. Save up to 15% on select ThinkPad laptops
  • Geeks.com: Up to 80% off computers and electronics

Not all of the sales are tech-focused, but you can pick up some gadgets and nab free shipping or some cash back with the following promos:

  • Macy's: Free Shipping and 2-day specials Veterans Day Sale. (Coupon Code: VETSDAY)
  • Sears: Extra $10 off Sears.com orders of $75 (Coupon Code: XMASLIST; Valid: 11/9 to 11/11)

  • I hate Black Friday

    I hate Black Friday with passion since I actually work in retail and I get all kinds of nutcases trying to buy stuff that's supposedly on "sale". Good grief! And like I mentioned on another blog true meaning of the holidays is overshadowed by shopping frenzies. Sad, but true.

    Hey, instead of going shopping this holiday season, why not freak out the banks and pay off your credit cards instead. Better credit scores, more peace of mind, less arguing about money. Maybe, you can put some away for your kids college. RIGHT!lol
