Mac Pro buyers and users: look out! NVIDIA’s Quadro 4000 graphics processing unit with Fermi technology for the Mac Pro is ready.

Major features on the Quadro 4000 card include 256 Nvidia Cuda processing cores, 2GB of GDDR5 memory, a 3D stereo bracket, and ports for DisplayPort and DVI-I ports connectivity.

Professionals using Snow Leopard working on heavy graphics and visuals can expect optimized and accelerated performance with the help of the Quadro 4000 GPU. Fermi-grade architecture is especially useful for designers and video editors using Final Cut Pro, the Adobe software suite and Matlab.

The Quadro 4000 GPU for Mac will be available later this month for $1,199.

You've already proven you like being scammed when you first decided to purchase a MacPro - so why not carry with the trend?

I would like to see a dumb downed version of the Mac Pro. Why? Because of the lack of graphics upgrades in the iMac and Mac Mini. Would it not be nice to not have to buy a iMac all over again just to get upgraded graphics?
