Sony Ericsson announced today its S312 cell phone, intended primarily as a multimedia device intended to capture video and still images on-the-fly and share them.The S312 carries a two megapixel camera that can be used horizontally, and has illuminated imaging shortcuts on the keypad to change image settings.

Sony Ericsson announced today its S312 cell phone, intended primarily as a multimedia device intended to capture video and still images on-the-fly and share them.

The S312 carries a two megapixel camera that can be used horizontally, and has illuminated imaging shortcuts on the keypad to change image settings. The phone has a two inch screen and Bluetooth capability (to share phone-to-phone or to the Web).

The S312supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800 and will be available in select markets from Q2 in blue and silver colors.
