Announced back in January, Versace has finally launched the luxury cell phone Unique, which should surely help you stand out when chatting at the beaches in the French Riviera this summer.
The best part about the look of this smartphone is that it isn't ridiculous. Versace has definitely implemented the idea "less is more" - at least when compared to other luxury gadgets that are usually covered in rhinestones. Naturally, there are some high-end, designer touches, like the embossed Versace logo on the violet leather casing and the option of either a 18K yellow gold finish or 316L grade stainless steel inlay frame.
As for the technical interior (developed by LG), the 3G-ready Unique packs a 3-inch touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with flash, an e-mail client and an MP3/video media player with Dolby Mobile surround sound with up to 30 hours of playtime. Other than that, not much is specified in regards to the OS or anything else. But anyone who buys the Unique is obviously interested in it for looks and brand name, not specs.
And like most overly-priced items, there's no price tag mentioned yet (and you probably won't know until you get to the register), so that leaves us to only fear what it could possibly cost. But note that it will only be sold in "the most important exclusive watch and fine jewelry networks and Versace flagship boutiques worldwide," starting in early June. Time to gear up that yacht now.

Versace Unique - Never Ever by this phone!
We purchased a brand new mobile phone, expecting it will satisfy the level of quality and performance, given its price and specifications! This is not our problem that the mobile phone sold is affected by the humidity and for this reason doesn't serve the purpose, that it has to . We paid so much money and wanted to enjoy the product. Not only we couldn't use it, but it caused us a lot of stress, and headache while trying to exchange it! If the most expensive element of the phone cannot withstand the humidity, then it should not be sold in UAE!! Up until today, we are trying to settle this case with consumer rights department of the DED. Anyone had this problem before? Any feedback would be appreciated! Regards,
