Walmart hosting 'amazing' electronics shopping event this weekend
If you want to get your holiday shopping out of the way immediately, then consider yourself booked this weekend. Walmart is hosting the "Amazing Walmart Electronics Event," which is a fancy way of saying a giant sale on gadgets.
Along with the price cuts on Vizio HDTVs, Walmart has slashed prices on a number of other tech goodies. Some sales include a 15.6-inch Compaq laptop for $288 and $50 iTunes gift cards for $35.
Furthermore, while the Sony PlayStation 3 Move + Console bundle isn't actually on sale (still priced at $399), it will come with a free $50 Walmart gift card, which could be put to use to buy something nice for a loved one (or yourself).
Stores open at 8AM on Saturday, November 6, and the sale goes until closing time on Sunday, November 7.
