Number 9 Dream

Somebody told me a story a few days ago about their brother or somebody sharing a cab with John Lennon outside the Dakota. Whoever the guy was pretended not to recognize Lennon and asked him: "So what do you do?" Forgive me for not remembering exactly how this goes next (I think it was Yossi Vardi or Bob Rosenschein who told me this at the airport in San Diego and I always forget good jokes almost immediately once I start laughing) but I'm pretty sure that Lennon answered "musician," the brother asked "oh, what kind?" and John said "The occasional Bar mitzvah and wedding."
Or I just dreamt it.
