Google just updated their robots.txt file -- usually a sign they are doing something related to the entry.  The new addition to the file is "/call" -- and by going to http://www.google.com/call, we can see that indeed something is already happening.

Right now we see an XML document that tells us a couple things.  First, my request generated an error, and second, this service involves caller id.  Could this be the first signs of VoIP through Google Talk?

  • k00l... but what about the google.com/music entry?

I checked out the robots.txt file, and I saw the usual, except of course the /call line... but I also noticed the /music line... Could Google also be working on some kind of music search, or music service, etc? I've heard stuff before about this, but this is the only "real" proof I have... and still, I'm skeptical about GMusic... (GMusic: sounds k00l, though)
