Take a trip over to the Microsoft Store where you'll find both the full and upgrade versions available for purchase.

The best part is that there's no DVD drive needed ... just download it to your hard drive or USB flash drive.

Boy, MS is really trying in every way to push the product though it has already got enough buzz and nod from reviewers and beta testers! Looks like they are determined not miss any single oppurtunity!!

• Oboma wrote the code

He heard about Windows 7 so he is winning
the Nobel peace prize and he is also taking
over the Internet people do not need access
to information he needs to 'control' it..

;)

• Who the hell is "Oboma"?

You mean ObAma?

• But, Vista SP3 should be free for those that already paid for Vista.

Seems like a ripoff to mee.

• broken record...

Got anything new?
Fark
• Well, no argument, you must agree Win7 = Vista SP3

NT

• Donnie

Why must we argue?

It's rather simple, If you don't use Windows, then don't comment. If whatever you are using makes you happy, then more power to you. Why must you come here picking fights?
The one and only, Cylon Centurion
• No fight here, just pointing out the obvious.

Win7 = Vista SP3.

I could also mention that MS stock is still i the
toilet, if you are interested in the obvious!!
DonnieBoy
• Aight then

If 7 is a SP to Vista, then so must be XP to 2000, 98 to 95 and so forth.

Which isn't true.

DO you even know what a service pack is?

• But, you forgot, how much does the full version of Ubuntu cost? Where can

we purchase it for download???
DonnieBoy
• Every time a new version of Ubuntu comes out...

that information is posted. Are you that threatened by Windows 7? Wow. I guess you must know how good it is then. :)

• Linux distro's are superior

With a Linux distro you DO NOT have to worry
about viruses/worms because it actually works.

With Windows Internet Explorer is welded in
as the core of the Operating System hence the
HUGE quagmire MS is in.

IE is Explorer.exe hard to lock it down when the
core of the OS is sitting like a duck in a
polluted sewer (Internet)...

• If you repeat it often enough, do you start to believe it?

I'm just curious how that brainwashing is going.

• So says the brainwasher

• Can I interest you in a clay tablet and a sharp stick

If your judgement is that bad, perhaps I can sell you DOS - all the features of Linux and even more secure.

It's not a problem that you don't like modern software, it's just the continually whining...
tonymcs@...
• The best example is MS Office, made for the last century when we printed

everything out and sent it by snail mail. I guess
that would be one step above a clay tablet and a
sharp stick though.
DonnieBoy
• Re: Linux distro's are superior

IE is "iexplore.exe", not "explorer.exe". Two different programs. If you're going to critique something, make sure you get it right or you'll come off like you don't know what you're talking about.

Enough is enough

I choose to pay for Windows, and I'm not alone is this, yet that doesn't seem to hold well with you for whatever reason.

Whatever you're using obviously works for you, and that's great, but can you quit trolling around? You're doing Ubuntu no good, and only reinforcing the stereotypical arrogant Linux user image.

• Why do linux users follow window posts

Window users don't care about linux posts
