DTG Windows Mobile 5 previewMy favorite Windows Mobile device at the current time is my T-Mobile Dash that is super slim, has great battery life, includes WiFi and Bluetooth, and does just about everything I need it to do. Windows Mobile Smartphones have traditionally been able to view Office documents, especially attachments that are sent, using 3rd party applications like ClearVue and Pixel Viewer. Now with the popularity of QWERTY keyboard models with larger landscape displays (T-Mobile Dash, Samsung Blackjack, Motorola Q) and more power, people are looking for more functionality out of their devices and more ways to use these keyboards. DataViz just released a preview of a product that addresses that need in regards to native Office documents. Documents To Go for Windows Mobile 5 Smartphones can be downloaded in a trial mode for free right now. I just installed it on my Dash and look forward to trying it out and posting my thoughts here.

I am a longtime PalmOS user and have recently changed platforms to Windows Mobile due to the lack of choice of smartphone hardware running the PalmOS. Treo's running Palm are getting scarce. (I'm still kind of a Palm fangirl) I have been using Documents to Go on my Palm OS devices for 5+ years And it was the first software I purchased for my shiny new Blackjack when it arrived. It cannot be beat for seamless integration with MS Office (which I use at work) and OpenOffice.org (which I use at home. This is by far the most useful software I have ever purchased.

  • Specifications of Docs 2 Go

I have a HTC 3125 and I had downloaded a program called "Notepad" so I could make text docs. But I can't save each file in a specific font just for them, so when I open up a different file the font is either too large or too small. Would Docs 2 Go allow me to save each file in their own individual font size?
