You're more likely to get $300 if you bring in a Possum!

They aren't going to trade in dinner!
Yea right if you think verizon is offering this great deal. It was announced this morning on amazon facebook page that you could get any new phone for a penny with any carrier, yes that includes verizon. Well the new razor would be a penny for new customers only. And what do you think the cost for existing customers is: yes you got it $299. and you think this is a deal. verizon probably offers you a whoppong one cent for your phone. give me a break. i plan to shop around for a new carrier their cell service is terrible and customer service is even worse. find something better and real to blog about.
like Verizon FIOS tv/internet/phone, where they're offering that service for $89/month and also throwing in the $300 ( on a credit card).

So, it looks like the $300 is a throwaway incentive, which doesn't really cost them anything, and makes them look good while gaining new customers.
