  • Free EAP-TTLS client

On a related note: there is now also a free EAP-TTLS client available for Windows 2000/XP and PocketPC 2003. It is called SecureW2 (http://www.securew2.com). Source code is also available. It has been released under the GPL licence.

Obviously this does not help home users much because they typically do not have a RADIUS server. Well, perhaps some do in the form of TinyPEAP.

      Jacco,

Thanks for this excellent link. EAP-TTLS is technically a better protocol than PEAP. It?s less susceptible to denial of service.
