With over 200 million Americans carrying cell phones, this could be pretty important for setting guidelines. We have already seen other frightening powers related to cell phones, such as 'cell mic tapping.'"

The ACLU press release is also available, and it contains links to the complaint and the Freedom of Information Act request. We've previously discussed instances of cell phone tracking in the US and elsewhere.

Interesting this.  I wonder if the government is also looking into some of David Hulton's research from Black Hat Europe on cracking GSM.

  • Well now,

we certainly don't need to track the ACLU now do we? We already know they're everywhere, all the time.

I feel there is a need for finding someone when there lost or hurt. I am writing that they should do something about jury duty, it should be a skill someone learns in school, and learn fairness and ethics, jobs are needed it would fill a need, not someone they force to appear or punish if they do not appear, people have bills to pay, people to care for, what if there sick or have other problems and force to them to appear, I find several people having credit problems because they do not pay there bill on time or evicted from there apartment I read, this is far worse.

DAMN! I once did enough drugs to lose 34 hours of my life and I still didn't write THAT incoherently. LEARN PUNCTUATION!! What the hell is this about sick people with bad credit being evicted while on jury duty???? Get some sleep!
