The contract will be three years in length with an option to extend by one year. The IT company will provide WA police with advice in areas of IT planning, project and program delivery.

"I am extremely pleased that WA Police recognised the value Empired could deliver through our extensive exposure in the WA Government sector and our experience in strategic consulting services," Empired chief Russell Baskerville said in a statement.

Empired also recently won a $3 million contract with the Victorian Government's Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
