Bleeding green: Rackable circumspect on financial outlook

Just caught this somewhat depressing item on Marketwatch: Green data center player Rackable Systems has warned the street about its 2008 financial results and taken steps to downsize its workforce by 15 percent. Here's the official press release. And here's hoping this is a minor blip in its journey.

As much as I wish otherwise, this is not likely to be the last indication that green tech companies aren't immune to our economic recession.
