Just a quick note to let members know that we've extended the deadline on our competition to win a trip to San Francisco for the RSA Conference 2008 in April or a full pass to RSA Europe 2007 in London next month.

To recap, all you have to do is post entries in our Sentry Posts group blog on security management. Any comments go--whether you're reacting to the report that Apple was second only to Microsoft in disclosed flaws or just sharing your security tips. The competition now closes 28 September--so get writing.

As a bonus, there's a freebie available for all ZDNet readers from RSA Europe, the sponsors of the competition. Exhibition passes for the event usually go for £25; you can get them for nada. Just register online at http://www.rsaconference.com/2007/europe/ and enter the registration code RSACCNET07 for a free exhibition-only pass to the security event, which takes place 22-24 October at ExCel. Alternatively, you can turn up on the day and quote the code to have the fee waived.
