Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species - one of the two million-plus free, public domain titles available through the store.

The store's ebooks can be read on Android, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices or via a web browser. Google ebooks can also be downloaded to be read on e-readers that run Adobe Digital Editions.

Google ebooks are not compatible with the Amazon Kindle but Google says it is open to introducing support for the Kindle in future.
