      I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm sick of all these blogs worshiping everything that apple does like its the second coming of Jesus. I have a 2.3 theme on my DroidX and I really like the UI adjustments they made. What is it that makes people think apple's UI is so great? It's just the same old look on every device; pretty boring if you ask me.

    @croberts The new UI is gorgeous! Look at the widgets and how multitasking is done. Pure sleekness without any hardware buttons! Honeycomb will redefine the tablet experience.

  Whenever I see someone with an iPhone. The first thing I think is how outdated and bland the home screen is. Android's ability to add Widgets, makes it so much stronger.

      @alsobannedfromzdnet lmao you dont have to hit a icon to do something you can do it just by looking at your home screen. you can watch all you facebook status on the homescreen everything is on your finger tips..

• The full desktop experience -- on a tablet?

  Android has created a full desktop experience here and I'm not sure that's a good thing. It all looks quite fiddly and complicated. a bit overwhelming for the beginner. If I want a tablet with this level of desktop-like functionality, why not just get a windows 7 tablet with stylus? If I need 5 desktops worth of widgets, I'm starting to use the device as a serious computer. In that case, maybe I need Microsoft Office. The HP Slate is fairly cheep, battery is not too bad, Win7 is useable with a stylus...

    That is what the whole tablet industry is missing. There are two market segments: information consumers, and information creators. You cannot create info efficiently in a touch environment.
