Like all Mac releases ... underwhelming!! The Mac
mini is a particularly bad joke. For half it's price
you could put together a PC that performs MUCH better
and INCLUDES keyboard, mouse and 19/22" monitor. I
have a Mac myself - because I work in IT and use it
for testing only - I purchased it 2nd hand. I really
don't think APPLE have ever come up with a product
I'd be prepared to buy new. The basic "APPLE RULE"
still applies ... double the price and half (in some
cases even less) the performance of a PC!!

I'd think that most people that are buying Mac Pros are
graphic artists or people that are having to process A
LOT of video. Or they've server machines. I don't
think of a Mac Pro as a consumer level 'desktop'. I
think of them as strictly work machines because:

    A. The Price
    B. Because who would need THAT much power in a home
    desktop?
