The first place photo was taken by TR member John.Greenstine with a BlackBerry 8930 at the Simeone Foundation museum in Philadelphia. The display commemorates various Alfa Romeo race cars that actually won the famous Italian Mille Miglia 1000 mile road race. The car in the shot was the 1937 race winner.
  • The second place photo was taken by TR member bjswm with a Nokia 6500 Slide phone of the Malta Harbour. This photo is actually five photos stitched together with fotoxx (under Linux) and with a little touch up by GIMP.

  • How is this a resolution test?

Where is the head-to-head resolution challenge?

What is the point of this? Not to mention that we don't need a resolution challenge, when the biggest problem in phone cameras is NOISE.
