      @krumthesaint
      sudo gedit /boot/menu/grub.lst (I think)
      Then you just add windows to it. There is a #ed out example in the file and it will probably be (hd0,0) for your windows

    Give them non-obtrusive interface.
    Give them easy to use installer.
    Give them motherloads of modern applications.

    Probably serve the needs of general casual users without the costs of Windows license and/or OSX-regulated hardware -

    • What windows cost?

      @croncron85 I don't know one person who has actually paid anything for a windows license. OEMs pay almost nothing for it. It might save you $25 off the cost of a PC, maybe, but since those PCs arn't sold in volume, stores don't get a volume discount, so the PC hardware would cost outlets more, negating the cost.

      Personally, I see the question of the OS as simply old news. When we open our workstations, laptops, etc., all we do are cloud apps anyway. Your browser is your OS now.

      Linux needs a better development environment too, something simple, yet powerful. If your answer to this is Eclipse, I feel sorry for you.
