RailCorp has lost a second senior technology executive, with its general manager of ICT strategy and architecture Jamye Harrison set to take a top post at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

The NSW public transport utility confirmed Harrison's resignation today, noting he would soon leave to be Deloitte's director of technology consulting. The executive had reported to Railcorp's chief information officer Vicki Coleman.

The news comes after ZDNet.com.au reported last week that Railcorp's former general manager of information technology delivery Henry Tan would take up the role of chief information officer at electricity utility Transgrid, commencing on 11 May.

Tan was in the RailCorp role early last year, according to the company's documents online, but the timing of his departure from the utility is unclear.

Like Tan, Harrison was one of RailCorp's most senior ICT leaders. He was responsible for developing the utility's ICT strategy and defining its enterprise architecture, according to his LinkedIn profile. He had been at RailCorp since January 2003, having held a number of senior ICT roles previously for consulting firms, law firm Freehills, and others.

A brief stint for slightly over a year saw him hold an editorial role at Australian Electronics Monthly.
