ForeFront, a New Jersey-based integrator that boasts advanced partnerships with Salesforce.com and IBM, among other technology vendors, has added a partnership with ServiceMax to its alliance list.

The relationship will enable ForeFront to focus more deeply on providing end-to-end service management for many different infrastructure tasks -- such as scheduling, inventory or parts logistics -- while better orchestrating service requests with ERP applications, as well as on-premises and cloud infrastructure. ForeFront's experience in ERP is crucial: often, field services applications require tight integration with these applications in order to be truly effective.

"We're uniquely positioned to know our client's business applications distinctly, allowing us to solve the most complex interoperability problems," said Anne Marie Berger, managing partner at ForeFront, in a statement about the partnership.

Forefront, based in Fair Haven, N.J., provides cloud solutions focused on supply chain management, CRM and ERP. Aside from the partnerships I've already mentioned, it is allied with Microsoft, Apptus, Birst and Jitterbit. Some of the company's reference accounts include AT&T, Dell, Ruckus Wireless, ShopRite and Zynga.
