Summary: Pittsburgh is trying to shed its image of a gritty, grimy steel town one building at a time. Its convention center is one of the most environmentally friendly buildings of its size in the entire country. The building was awarded gold-level certification on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ratings scale set up by the U.S. Green Building Council.

  • No jobs,No jobs,No jobs!

Pittsburgh has no jobs for high tech people.

Say what you want ,but as an expatriate now living in the Silicon Valley, the job growth rate there stinks and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

They can use taxpayer money all they want, but the place is a dead end for any body in the high tech biz.

You go to school.get a degree and then move to another area.
