Windows 7 delivered early to UK customers
CNET UK has reported that a number of people have already received their copies of Windows 7, despite its official release date of 22 October.The report stated that some UK customers had received a copy of the new operating system as early as Monday.

It is understood that Microsoft has agreed to allow certain UK retailers to dispatch copies of Windows 7 early in a bid to avoid any delays caused by the looming threat of industrial action at Royal Mail.
