    This app, from the Australian government, aims to help businesses create an emergency management and recovery plan. It provides steps that businesses need to carry out to be shipshape in the case of a disaster.

    Platform: Windows Phone 7, Android, iOS (iPhone)

    For Windows Phone users: this app provides free calls and free video calls. It's also compatible with iPhone, Android and PC, so you can keep in touch with a wide range of contacts. It has a simple interface, and even works over Wi-Fi to save you money on calls.

    It does seem to have a few kinks to be worked out for certain phones, but you it is free.
