Skype users who want to call their friends or work colleagues from their Windows Phone using their data allocation can now rejoice, as the Skype app for Windows Phone has now come out of beta and is available at the Windows Marketplace. Calls can be made to other Skype users, or with a fee to contacts. The app works over 3G and Wi-Fi.

  • I wonder if the Telstra app will be just as much a data hog on iOS as it is on Android.

    It was one of my least used apps but was consistently the biggest data hog. I have now deleted it.
