The Monash University Low FODMAP Diet

    Platform: iOS

    Price: AU$10.49

If you thought that this was an app that would help you lose all the extra weight you gained over the break, then this isn't the app for you.

The Low FODMAP Diet is designed for people to manage the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. The university says that the key is to reduce a group of carbohydrates called FODMAPs — hence the name of the app.

Inside this app is a list of low FODMAP foods, 79 recipes, and a low FODMAP challenge.

    Platform: iOS, Android

    Price: Free

Wotif.com's iOS application has received an iPad version, and an Android app is now available in Google Play.

The app carries across the functionality of the company's website, with the added bonus of offline access to bookings.

    Ticketek

    Platform: iOS

    Price: Free

Do you love paying booking fees while on the move? With this app from Ticketek, you are only a few taps away from paying more than $5 for digital tickets. What a bargain!

People that love the latest attempt to make QR codes useful — sorry, I mean Passbook users — will love the Passbook integration.

But if the above screenshot is representative of the gigs that Passbook users will add, we'll pass on it.
