Acer has boosted its nettop series in the form of the new Aspire Revo 3700, which boasts a number of solid specs but is still missing one in particular.

The Aspire Revo 3700 is fairly compact (apparently "1 liter" in size), so it should fit well on most desks and other entertainment set-ups. It can also be mounted to the back of "any" LCD or TV. Here's a look at what's inside this capable nettop PC:

  • Intel Atom D525 1.8GHz dual-core processor
  • NVIDIA ION 2 graphics processor
  • 4GB of DDR3 memory
  • 500GB hard drive
  • 1080p HD video playback
  • DirectX 10 and 3D playback support
  • 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
  • Connectivity: Four USB 2.0 ports, VGA and HDMI outputs, gigabit Ethernet, mini PCI Express slot

It has all the makings for an entertainment center...yet there isn't a TV tuner. Bummer.

The Aspire Revo 3700 is expected to retail for $580 and ship later this year.
