Check out Skype Journal's Jim Courtney's extensive test drive of Yugma SE Team Collaboration.

This Web-based utility is the most newly certified Skype Extra. That'd be third-party software, tools, platforms, etc. that have received Skype's official blessing.

A direct result of Yugma's active participation in the Skype Developer Program, YougmaSE lets you - or your session host- share your desktop over Skype, with no additional cost.

What's cool is that during a 15 day trial period, you will be able to not only share your desktop's UI, but mouse and keyboard control and a common file space. Session scheduling as well as record and playback functionality can also be expanded to your group.

Once the 15-day trial period runs out, you'll still be able to share your desktop over Skype with as many as 10 users. But if you wind up hungry for greater enablement, monthly or annually based subscription-based alternatives allow for up to 500 concurrent sessions.

"As many of my contacts have been acquiring Macs and MacBooks over the past eighteen months, " Jim writes, "Yugma's Skype Edition has become a very useful tool for presentations and training sessions during the past few months."

I can see why.
