First M'sian university to launch an online paper

Universiti Utara Malaysia is the first university in the country to launch its own online newspaper.

The fortnightly, dual-language (Malay and English) paper is published by the Communication and Modern Language Faculty.

This is a good move. Journalism students will get some hands-on experience writing for and editing a newspaper - albeit an online one.

Any college or university that offers a journalism or media course should be doing something like this.
