Business Intelligence for Rich Internet Applications, Windows Presentation Foundation, Firefox and WPF/e, and Flash Remoting for .NET
Written by Ryan Stewart, Contributor

  • I caught a post on Business Intelligence and Rich Internet Applications. It seems to be a thinly veiled promo for Farata Systems, but still worth a read, and Farata is doing some cool stuff.
  • Rob Relyea posted on Talking to customers about WPF. It's interesting to see how he sells it in 30 minutes.
  • This just came in, but Vladimir Vukicevic of the Firefox team just got back from Redmond on his visit to the Microsoft Open Source Lab. In this post he talks about having discussions with the WPF/e team on their plugin for FireFox. WPF/e news has been VERY slow to trickle out, so I jump on small things like this.
  • Another Sys-Con post, this time about a .NET version of Flash Remoting. This is something I'm following very closely. The guys over at WebORB have really broadened the reach of Flash Remoting. It cuts a bit into Adobe's Flex Data Services offering, but provides lesser functionality over a wider range of products. Keep an eye on these guys.
