Watch Selangor budget speech online

Those interested in the 2008 Selangor budget will be able to watch, via video streaming, Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) Mohamad Khir Toyo table it at 11 am on Nov. 19.

The video will be streamed live from the State Assembly Hall in Shah Alam and shown on the official Selangor State Web site.

The live video stream is an effort to encourage immediate feedback from the people.

I wonder: How long it'll be before the government decides that parliamentary debates will be streamed live?

What better way to promote transparency and accountability, right?
