By | October 8, 2008, 11:27am PDT

There are an incredible amount of startups and established companies who are releasing tools and practices for digital Web strategies for businesses on a weekly basis. Since I cannot cover them all I have set out to prepare a weekly snapshot of digital Web news that impacts businesses of all sizes. The list will start out small and grow as more companies make it onto the radar with their news. Here’s a quick taste:

  • Etelos, a Web app distribution platform for businesses, introduced its Etelos Virtual Server Environments, which provide quick-start platforms for Django, Ruby on Rails, Mono, Tomcat JAVA, JBoss and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP).
  • Pubmatic claims to helps online publishers work with and manage multiple ad networks. The company just launched a new campaign fulfillment service that provides ad networks with publisher inventory on-demand.
  • Brainshark has a new offering for SOHO businesses that need to create voice- and video-enabled presentations that are stored and accessible in the cloud.
  • LotusJump has opened public beta for its “do-it-yourself” SEO software for small businesses. The company claims that it caters to small business owners who have no prior SEO experience but want the benefits of SEO marketing.
