Samsung Zeal will launch with Verizon Wireless on November 11
Verizon Wireless will still be launching a new mobile phone on November 11, but it's not the Motorola Droid 2 Global (available now). It's the Samsung Zeal!
The dual-hinge device sports an interesting e-ink keypad that toggles between being a full QWERTY keyboard in landscape view and a numeric keypad when held in portrait view.
Being that this is a featurephone, there are plenty of simplified apps, such as Skype Mobile, VZ Navigator for directions, a media center with access to downloading wallpapers, games and whatnot.
Everything else is quite basic, including the 2-megapixel camera, the microSD card slot, and the "personal organizer" (calendar, alarm clock, etc.).
The Samsung Zeal will hit Verizon stores and be available online starting this Thursday for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with the signing of a two-year service contract.
